Nomad Burn Festival again for its 3rd annual celebration in Kunsan! This festival is like the Burning Man festival in the United States where people gather to burn stuff, eat good food, listen to good music, and then leave no trace behind. There is also a parade and a burn EDM concert at night that we will be participating in. We will only be accepting the first 150 people to this festival! Do not wait until the last minute to book because at this price, we will be SOLD OUT fast! Regular price online for the Korean nationals is 100.000 won and we are getting a special price for this Festival so come and experience the burn!

Duration

August 17th (Saturday)

  • 07:00am Hongik Univ. subway station(Exit 1)
  • 07:30am Express bus terminal subway station exit #8 (in front of Shinsaegae dept store)
  • 08:10am Cheongmyeong subway station exit #6
  • 08:40am Osan College exit 2

(From Daejeon/Cheongju)

  • 08:00am Cheongju Siwae bus terminal in front of Pascucci coffee shop
  • 09:00am Pick up at Daejeon bus terminal complex(대전 복합 버스터미널) West building. *We are meeting at “Dunkin Donuts” outside the terminal building
  • 10:50am Pick up at Kunsan siwae bus terminal

For those who coming to Gunsan bus terminal: There are two bus terminal but we are meeting at the taxi stand in front of Gunsan Siwae bus terminal(not express bus terminal). you can call at 010-4242-5536 if you encounter any problem to find the meeting site.

  • 11:30am Arrive at Nomad festival site & put your belongings in your tent (set up prior to us getting there) (Please bring your own lunch)
  • 12:30-14:00 Time for face painting, making your avatar, and completing different missions to get stamps for food
  • 14:00-15:00 Water fighting (We are providing water guns and buckets)
  • 15:00-15:30 African percussion music performance
  • 16:00-18:00 Talent show (Bring a guitar or other instrument if you want to sign up for this)
  • 20:00-21:30 K-pop performance and foreign bands performances
  • 21:30-22:00 Burning the avatars and other things
  • 22:00-23:30 EDM dance party

August 18th (Sunday)

  • 07:00-08:00am Yoga
  • 10:00am Brunch(Included) (Seoul departure)
  • 11:00pm Leave for Seoul
  • 12:30pm Visit Winery -Make apple pie -Sample the wine and rum made there (People going to Daejeon will not be able to go)
  • 14:30pm Leave for Seoul
  • 16:30pm Arrive at Osan college subway station
  • 17:00pm Cheongmyeong subway stop
  • 17:40pm Express bus terminal subway stop

(Daejeon/Cheongju departure)

  • 11:00amLeave for home
  • 13:00pm Arrive at Daejeon bus terminal complex
  • 14:00pm Arrive at Cheongju Siwae bus terminal
Services
  • Make avatars yourself that we will burn later on
  • Get henna tattoos (optional, additional cost)
  • Relax while doing some yoga (Need to bring your own yoga mat)
  • Participate in the parade
  • Listen to many different artists and genres at the festival like k-pop and EDM
  • Listen to the unique African drums and percussion instruments
  • Swim around in the pool that is going to be set up there
  • Complete different challenges to get stamps for food
  • Sleep in a tent provided by us (3 people) and hang out in the large community tent (You may bring your own tent if you want)
  • Visit the different communities that will be set up at the festival like the art market, the food market, the flea market, and more
  • Drink around all the different fires that will be burning
  • Play around with water guns and water buckets to beat the heat of the fire
  • On the way back to Seoul we will visit an apple winery where you can sample wine and rum (Daejeon people will not be able to go, the winery is on the way to Seoul and not Daejeon)
