Tour Highlights
- Stay in a pension house that is just 5 km from the border. You’ll be able to see into North Korea from here, but don’t worry, it is completely safe.
- Take a scenic and unique walk along the 4 km long trail built along a canyon that was created by volcanic eruptions.
- Visit the Unification Observatory that overlooks the Iron Triangle Battlefield, North Korean villages, military bunkers and outposts that you can see through binoculars
- We’ll visit Woljeongri Train Station and the ruins of the “Last Train to North Korea” that used to connect both sides of the Korean Peninsula
- Examine the Labor Party Building ruins, also known as Nodongdangsa, where the area around it used to be part of Northern Korea in 1946 before the war
- Eat meals prepared by the villagers using locally-grown ingredients of Cheorwon
- Learn how to make and decorate Korean rice cakes
